For over two decades, I’ve dedicated my life to building business models that combine innovation, sustainability, and technological sovereignty. Starting from scratch in Mexico, creating brands, and challenging the norms of an industry dominated by global giants and outdated systems has required persistence — and a deep love for my country and for the possibility of a different future.

I’ve witnessed firsthand how Latin America — quietly, without headlines — is becoming fertile ground for what truly matters: life, climate, and the future.
And with each passing day, I feel more grateful and privileged to have been born in this part of the world.
Here in Latin America, we don’t experience climate change as distant data — we live it on our skin. And yet, we are determined to offer solutions. More than 50% of our electricity already comes from renewable sources. My home country, Mexico — along with Chile, Brazil, and others — is electrifying its energy matrix with a vision that, while sometimes messy, is undeniably purposeful.

Electromobility, to me, is not a trend. It’s a public health necessity, an economic opportunity, and a pathway to redesigning our region’s economic model. At Zacua — the first Mexican electric vehicle brand — we live this reality every day. A small, family-run, 100% Mexican company, we chose not just to participate, but to rewrite the rules of the game. Today, we’re not just recognized as an automotive player — we’ve proven that there’s space for new entrants, and we’ve significantly multiplied our company’s market value in just a few years.
This journey has made me deeply aware of the immense potential Latin America holds. When I speak with foreign investors and entrepreneurs, I always make it clear: investing here isn’t charity — it’s a strategic decision.

Latin America is biodiversity. It’s fresh water. It’s millions of hectares with regeneration potential. But above all, it’s people: young female engineers with brilliant ideas, highly skilled technicians, bold suppliers willing to innovate, and local governments beginning to open pathways through smart public policy. Latin America holds the future.
In this emerging ecosystem, those who invest in green projects today are positioning themselves ahead of an inevitable global shift.

Latin America is evolving. No longer just a supplier of raw materials or cheap labor, the region is becoming a true laboratory for climate innovation — one capable of generating the solutions the world urgently needs.

Filiberto Tamez, CEO of 1R — a mexican digital agency focused on brand creation and positioning — told me that there’s a wave of tech startups across the region eager to take their place at the table. His firm is helping shape the voice of these new industrial and technological ventures in Mexico.
These startups benefit from one crucial advantage: agility. They aren’t weighed down by outdated systems or heavy corporate structures. They think in the present and act with urgency — a powerful capability they’re learning to master.
And the good news is that institutional infrastructure is beginning to align: green taxonomies, energy auctions, payments for ecosystem services… the pieces are coming together.
Julio Di-Bella Roldán, president of El Gran Bajío — a business development agency promoting global investment through strategic alliances — recently said at a meeting with Spain’s Ministry of Economy and the Madrid City Council:
“Latin America is the new frontier of the green economy, and Mexico is its strategic epicenter. Investing today in electromobility and nature-based solutions is not only profitable — it is essential for those who want to compete in a sustainable future.”

I couldn’t agree more. What Latin America needs most is for investors to stop viewing it as a risk and start recognizing it for what it truly is: a panacea.
A panacea for your portfolio. For the planet. For your purpose.
As a businesswoman, as a Latina, and as someone who believes in possibility, I offer this invitation with conviction:
Invest in Latin America. Invest in the people electrifying our cities, regenerating our lands, and harnessing the sun and wind as the engines of new industries.
Investing here doesn’t just protect your capital — it places you on the right side of history.
And believe me, there’s nothing more valuable — economically, emotionally, or ethically — than that.
Believing in a better world isn’t naïve. It’s strategic intelligence.
That’s why I say with complete certainty:
Latin America is the new investment panacea.
